Standard CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) colors render beautifully on white walls.
However, many walls are not white; brick walls are red, concrete walls are gray, and dark surfaces tend to absorb light.
White ink provides the solution. By printing a white base layer first and then overlaying the color image, the colors appear bright, vivid, and accurate. Without white ink, colors on dark surfaces would look dull and lackluster.
However, white ink presents a challenge: it is prone to settling. White pigments can sink and clog the printhead. Fortunately, some wall printers come equipped with an automatic white ink stirring system.
A built-in stirring mechanism keeps the white ink in motion, preventing sedimentation through continuous circulation and thereby avoiding clogs.
If you frequently print on colored surfaces, a setup featuring white ink and automatic stirring is essential.
