First, stop using ink, but don't stop maintenance. Before shutting down the machine for an extended period, you must clean the ink path, thoroughly flush the printhead with cleaning solution, and apply moisturizing fluid to keep the printhead damp. This is the only way to prevent the printhead from clogging.
Second, cut the power, but don't cut protection. Before powering off, do not neglect environmental protection: temperature and humidity must be kept stable, and a dust cover must be used. Dust is the invisible killer of precision equipment.
Third, the machine may be idle, but the maintenance routine cannot stop. While letting the machine rest completely, the automatic maintenance cannot be paused. It is recommended to power on the machine once a month and let it run through some motions — this is how you extend the life of the machine.
