John 😃Common causes are listed below — do a self-check.
First, the machine sits idle for extended periods. When UV printheads are not firing ink, the UV ink in the lines can easily cure.
Second, the secondary ink tank level monitoring fails. Air entering the printhead can also cause certain damage to the printhead.
Third, the workshop environment is poor — excessive dust and static electricity cause particles to easily clog the filter screen.
Fourth, the ink supply system parameters are adjusted incorrectly, or purging is not performed when it should be.
Fifth, low-quality (inferior) ink is used.
How to prevent printhead clogs from occurring?
First, always print a test strip at startup every day. Second, perform a deep cleaning once a week. Third, replace the filter screen every three months without fail. Fourth, adjust the negative pressure parameters in a timely manner according to different seasons and temperature variations. Fifth, buy genuine, manufacturer-approved ink.
